About Robert Wheeler
Robert Wheeler is a former managing director in natural resources at Deutsche Bank in Houston, Texas. Focusing primarily on companies within the oil and gas sector, he handled all corporate finance coverage and execution, including mergers and acquisitions. Having held this position from 2005 to 2015, he was involved in a wide range of significant transactions, including the sale of Giant Industries to Western Refining, and the sale of Velero Lima Refinery to Husky Oil. Robert Wheeler also has experience with such IPOs as Western, CVR, and PBF Logistics.
Prior to his former role with Deutsche Bank, Robert Wheeler spent 16 years working for Credit Suisse First Boston, a leading international financial services company. He first joined the company as an analyst in natural resources mergers and acquisitions, gradually working his way up to a position as managing director in natural resources.
In his free time, Mr. Wheeler enjoys sailing, running, and traveling. Together with his wife and daughter, he has visited such locations as France, England, and Monaco. A dedicated member of the community, he donates annually to charities that support Marines and their families.
